Often, we take up the pen to embody the ideas that roam in our minds, but in reality, we release these ideas from their imprisonment when we write them. The idea remains captive without value as long as it is not transformed into readable or audible words or tangible actions. The great figures throughout history have been known for centuries, long after their demise, because of their great works preserved in books, drawings, sculptures, research, and scientific applications. However, every work, no matter how simple, begins with words. Groups of words may make sentences, explain ideas, present plans, studies, research, books, articles, and creative writing. Writing gives a soul and life to ideas that endure forever after the death of their writers. What distinguishes us as humans, in short, is the ability to document, write, and transmit ideas to become a useful and enjoyable product for others.
The idea of establishing "Shaimaa Nabeel AlMulla Publishing and Distribution House" originated from a passion for bringing words to life through publications in 2015. This vision evolved into a center for studies and research by December 2023. The fundamental focus of the house was to document the past, analyze and evaluate the present, and foresee the future in vital fields such as education, media, and social issues. Recently, the publishing and distribution house underwent a name change to the Center for Research and Studies, aiming to better convey the essence of its intellectual output in written form.
The initial stages may have been deliberate and gradual, but now I envision the journey ahead to be marked by creativity and excellence. I aspire for the center to become a distinctive entity in the fields of research and studies, covering historical documentation and social development. Additionally, I envision it playing a pivotal role in the analysis and evaluation of the current landscape, as well as in future foresight within the realms of education, media, and the arts.
